Invitation to Lent: Join us as we enter into the Lenten season with our series, "An Unraveling Hope”.  We begin with an Ash Wednesday Service this coming Wednesday, February 14 at 7:30 p.m. with Andrea Hollingsworth preaching on “A Trembling Trust.”  Our series will explore how the journey of faith, like Jesus’ own journey, is filled with mystery, paradox, and unknowing. It seems that the more we give ourselves to faith and hope, the less our journeys look like climbing the ladders of certainty or success, and more like an unraveling of all that we once expected of God. How can we make sense of this unsettling God, whose embodiment of love led to execution?  Perhaps the questions of our sacred texts can be our guide as we embark upon our own unraveling this Lenten season.
