Surrounded by the arts since a very early age, Heather Albinson has found herself in many creative endeavors over the course of her life. She is both a visual artist and musician, focusing primarily on drawing and painting, as well as the bass guitar.

Her passion is being able to tell stories through her art, and to inspire others to tell their own stories by finding their own creative voice; be it music, painting, sculpture, poetry, photography, welding, etc. There are always stories to tell, and the arts are a vehicle in which we can pull experiences from our minds and release them into the world. Shared experiences and ideas draw communities closer together, and Heather is excited to witness the empowering individuals through artistic freedom and community.

Heather graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art, and has since been working on pursuing her interest in illustration and storytelling as a lifestyle.

She has attended First Covenant Church since 2012. Heather lives in south Minneapolis with her wife, Lisa, and works as a freelance artist and bookseller at Wild Rumpus Books.
