St. Barnabas Welcome Baskets

Help young people who have experienced homelessness get back on their feet by donating to our Welcome Basket drive! St. Barnabas apartments, located across the street from First Covenant Church offers young people ages 18-24 coming out of a situation of homelessness the opportunity to have a supportive housing environment and build skills for self-sustainability.  A partnership between Aeon (housing provider) and YouthLink MN (services provider) St. Barnabas provides housing, case management, employment and education services, and meaningful community to dozens of young people striving to get on their feet.

We can support the great work of YouthLink and our young neighbors by providing basic household needs that will go a long way to making their new apartment feel like home.  Between now and October 1, bring the following shopping list with you on your next Target or Dollar Store run, and pick out an item or two, or an entire basket!  Drop off your new, unwrapped donation items in the lobby at church and we will organize and deliver the welcome baskets by the end of the month.
